Automatic barriers help with controlled access, especially when combined with different kinds of access control systems, e.g. keypads, contactless smart cards, hands-free access systems, intercom, etc to make access control easier and more efficient. In addition, the gate sector is believed to move in the same direction of using integrated access control system with multi-button design, battery backup option, and mechanical locks, amid others.
