Southcoast Access Engineering Services (SAES) has continued the work of Clarke Instruments Ltd in many of its services after it closed its doors after forty successful years when the owners retired.

The former senior managers and directors who are now the owner/directors of SAES are continuing with their reputation for innovation in design and manufacture, and customer service for former customers and clients of Clarke Instruments, especially in the provision of servicing and repairs of existing customers and installations as well as catering for new customers and their requirements.

Design & Manufacture

We specialise in the design and manufacture of our own range of high-quality electro-mechanical products such as turnstiles, vehicle barriers, gate drives, gate locks, electric releases and solenoid bolts. We have always had the highest quality standards; being registered to ISO 9001 and prior to that AQAQ1 and its predecessors.

We consider the design and development of new systems and products to be a top priority, surpassed only by the requirement to provide first class customer service. We specialise not only in the design of bespoke solutions but in the supply, installation and maintenance of complete security and access control systems. These are complemented by control equipment such as card readers, proximity readers, PC based systems, enabling SAES to provide a total solution to your access control and security equipment requirements.

An excellent track record

We are pleased to have a good track record, having made significant contributions to the access control and security requirements of football grounds, major cricket grounds, leisure centres, hotel facilities, major utilities, airports and MOD facilities, building sites, to mention but a few of the prestigious projects undertaken in recent years, overseas as well as here in the UK.
